Assessment Process

Assessment of the candidates under the sponsored project, Aspirational Districts will be held on the lines of assessment for NSQF aligned courses

Candidates who have registered with NIELIT for any particular course under the project has to first register themselves with NIELIT. After obtaining registration number, candidate could login into his/her account in the student portal ie. student.nielit.gov.in. Candidate may then apply for a particular examination cycle of the course for which he/she has registered

(A) Examination Fee:

Training center would pay on behalf of candidates.

(B) Assessment Components and Duration of Examination:

Note:-Pass percentage is 50% marks in each component with aggregate pass percentage of 50% and above.

(C) Conduct of Theory Examination

  • The schedule and venue of the exam will be intimated to the candidates through admit card and also through the training partner
  • Candidate should carry Admit card and a valid Photo I card like Voter ID, Aadhar, I card issued by Government agencies etc
  • Theory Examination would be conducted online and paper comprises of MCQ. There is no negative marking in online theory examination
  • The Examination would be conducted in English Language only
  • There would be no exemption for any paper/module for candidates having similar qualification/skills.
  • A candidate will get a maximum of six examination cycles to pass the course within the validity of Registration.
  • For re-examination, the prescribed examination fee is required to be paid by the candidate only for the assessment component in which a candidate wants to reappear.
  • Practical examination and other components like Internal Assessment /Project etc. will be done offline

(D) Conduct of Practical Examination

  • The schedule and venue of the exam will be intimated to the candidates through admit card and also through the training partner
  • Candidate should carry Admit card and a valid Photo I card like Voter ID, Aadhar, I card issued by Government agencies etc.
  • Practical examination will be held by under the supervision of NIELIT Regional Centre based on Question paper provided by Examination Wing, NIELIT HQs
  • Assessment components like Internal Assessment, Project /Presentation /Assignment will be done by the Training Partner
  • Candidates have to submit Major Project / Dissertation with requisite fee to the concerned Regional Centre of NIELIT for evaluation and Viva, if applicable.

(E) Result

Result of the examinations once published will be visible to candidate on their dashboard. The result will also be shared with the training institute through NIELIT Regional Centre.

(G) Certification:

Certificates of the candidates who have passed all assessment components and eligible for issue of final certificate will be processed and published in about two weeks’ time after publishing of result. Candidates could download the certificate from www.nielit.gov.in/certificate.
